The short version: Rakkez is a place to study together on video. Be respectful, keep it clean and safe, do not record other people, and only use Rakkez if you are 18 or older. We can remove accounts that break these rules. The full terms are below.

1. Accepting these Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Rakkez , the operator of the Rakkez website and its study rooms (the "Service"). By creating an account, ticking the agreement box, or using the Service, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What Rakkez is

Rakkez lets people study together in live video rooms of up to four people. You can create private rooms for friends, join a room with a Room ID, or be matched into an open room with other students. Each session lasts up to 45 minutes. We do not run a school or tutoring service, and we do not supervise what happens in rooms.

3. Who can use Rakkez

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service.
You must be legally able to enter into this agreement where you live.
You must not have been previously banned from Rakkez.
You may only use the Service in line with the laws that apply to you.

4. Your account

Give accurate information when you sign up (username, email and gender). Gender is used to offer girls-only and boys-only rooms, so it must be truthful.
Keep your password private. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
One person, one account. Do not sell, share or transfer your account.
Do not use another person's name, photo or identity, or pretend to be someone you are not.
Tell us right away if you think someone accessed your account without permission.

5. Rules of conduct

Rakkez is for studying. When you use the Service you agree not to:

Show nudity, sexual content or sexual behavior, or wear or display anything sexually explicit on camera.
Harass, bully, threaten, stalk, shame or discriminate against anyone, or use hateful language.
Show or encourage violence, self-harm, illegal activity, or dangerous behavior.
Ask other users for personal, financial or intimate information, or try to move conversations to dating or other purposes unrelated to studying.
Record, screenshot, stream or share other people's video, audio or image without their clear permission.
Spam, advertise, sell things, run scams, or deliberately disrupt a room.
Upload or show anything that infringes someone else's rights (for example copyrighted material you do not have permission to share).
Try to hack, overload, scrape, reverse engineer or break the Service, or get around blocks, bans or security measures.
Create accounts to avoid a ban, a block or a removal from a room.
Use bots or automated tools to join rooms or send reports.

6. Video and audio

Rooms use your camera and microphone. Everyone in the room can see and hear you. Only turn on your camera where you are comfortable being seen, and keep private information (for example documents, addresses or other people) out of view.
Video and audio travel directly between participants. Rakkez does not record rooms. However, other participants could record or screenshot you using their own devices even though these Terms forbid it, so only share what you are comfortable with.
Do not record, copy or distribute anything from a room without the permission of everyone who appears in it.
Technical details such as your IP address can be visible to other participants because of how direct video connections work. See our Privacy Policy.

7. Safety, moderation and reporting

You can block any user. Blocked users will not be matched with you, and their video is hidden from you.
You can report a user for explicit content, harassment or spam. Reports may lead to warnings, removal from rooms, or suspension or banning of the account, including automatically after repeated reports.
We use an automatic filter that tries to hide explicit video content. It is not perfect and does not catch everything, so you should still use the block and report tools.
We may remove content, remove users from rooms, or suspend or ban accounts at our discretion if we believe these Terms were broken or someone's safety is at risk. We may also share information with authorities where the law requires it or where someone may be in danger.
Be careful with strangers online. Do not share your phone number, home address, school, social media or passwords with people you meet in rooms. If anything makes you uncomfortable, leave the room and report the user.

8. Rooms and hosts

A room holds up to four people and closes automatically after 45 minutes.
The host of a room can remove other people from it, and can choose whether random users may be matched into it. People who are removed cannot rejoin that room.
Anyone who has a Room ID can try to join that room, so only share it with people you trust.
Rooms and room data are temporary and may be deleted when the room ends or becomes inactive.

9. Your content and feedback

You keep ownership of what you create or share (such as your username and anything you show on camera). You give us a limited, non-exclusive right to process that content only as needed to run the Service (for example, showing your username and video to the people in your room). If you send us a bug report, idea or other feedback, we may use it to improve the Service without owing you anything. You are responsible for the content you share and for making sure you are allowed to share it.

10. Advertising and third parties

Rakkez may show advertising, including ads provided by Google AdSense, on some public pages of the website. Third-party advertisers and service providers have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them. The Service may link to other websites that we do not control. The Service also depends on third-party providers (for example Google Firebase for accounts and data), and we are not responsible for outages or problems caused by them.

11. Ownership

The Rakkez name, logo, design and software belong to us or our licensors. We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable permission to use the Service in line with these Terms. You may not copy, sell or create copies of the Service or its design.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent allowed by law. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that video connections will always work.
We do not verify the identity, age, gender or intentions of users, and we do not guarantee that other users will behave appropriately. You are responsible for your own interactions with other users.
Rakkez is not a replacement for professional, medical, legal or educational advice.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or reputation, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service, or from the actions of other users. Where the law does not allow us to exclude liability, our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the past 12 months which is 0 egp. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

14. Suspension and termination

You can stop using Rakkez at any time. To delete your account and data, contact us at the email below.
We may suspend or end your access immediately, with or without notice, if you break these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us or others, or if we must do so by law.
Sections that by their nature should continue (for example ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law) continue after your account ends.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. If we make an important change, we may ask you to accept the new Terms again before you continue. If you keep using the Service after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Egypt, and any dispute will be handled by the courts of Egypt, unless the mandatory consumer laws where you live give you the right to use your local courts.
