ABOUT RAKKEZ
A free video study room where you study together and stay focused.
What is Rakkez?
Rakkez is a website made for students. You open a study room, turn on your camera, and work on your own tasks while other people study quietly beside you. There is no lesson and no small talk required. The point is simply to have company, so it is easier to sit down, start, and keep going.
You can study with friends in a private room, join a room with a Room ID, or be matched with other students who want to focus too. Every room holds up to four people and runs on a 45-minute session with a visible timer.
Why we built it
Studying alone at home can be hard. It is easy to get distracted, put things off, or feel like nobody else is working. Many students find it easier to concentrate when other people are working nearby, but not everyone can get to a library or has friends who are free at the same time. Rakkez brings that "study together" feeling online, for free, whenever you need it.
What you can do
Study with friends
Add friends, create a private room, and invite them to study with you.
Meet new study mates
Use random matching to join an open room with other students.
Join with a Room ID
Paste a Room ID from a friend and jump straight into their room.
Stay on track
A 45-minute timer with a 10-minute warning helps everyone plan their session.
What we believe in
- Focus first. Rakkez is for studying. We keep the experience simple and free of distractions.
- Respect. Everyone is here to work. Harassment, explicit content and disruption are not welcome.
- Safety. You choose who you study with. You can pick girls-only or boys-only rooms, block anyone, report bad behavior, and hosts can remove people from their room.
- Privacy. We do not record your video or audio, and we do not sell your personal data. Read our Privacy Policy for the details.
- Free access. Rakkez is free to use. We may show ads on some public pages to help cover the costs of running the site.
Keeping the community safe
Studying on camera with other people only works when everyone feels comfortable. That is why Rakkez includes blocking, reporting, host controls, an automatic filter that hides explicit video, and rules that apply to everyone. Users must be 18 or older. Please read our Terms of Use to see what is and is not allowed.
Who is behind Rakkez
Rakkez is built and run by RakkezI am a student from Cairo who wanted a better way to focus. We read every message and bug report, and we are always improving the site based on what students tell us.
